Linux Works

Windows is in Crisis, Mac OS is Mr. Fancy Pants, Linux….is the future.

The Abstract Exponent has been using much Ubuntu and Fedora recently, with great success. These user friendly OS’s offer great driver support, smooth desktop experiences and easy customization.

Free(as in beer) Open Source applications are now abundant. Inkscape, Gimp, and Audacity offer a huge percentage of the Adobe experience for absolutely free. Even in the long run, good video software is probably worth paying for, so that means we are on the cusp of The Great Age of the Widely Used Linux Desktop.

So with that in mind, this page hereby announces that The Abstract Exponent will concern itself with the design of the following free(as in beer) software:

Fedora Linux

Ubuntu Linux

Gnome Desktop

KDE Desktop

Inkscape

Gimp

Audacity

VLC

Open Office

End Announcement.
