A new word created by Captain Xark in order to describe the eternal teetering on complete collapse demonstrated by the American economy, if not the economy of the entire planet.  Growth is imminently expected without specific plans to increase production of anything but weapons and/or financial products.

Everyone in the nation worries about money, hates their jobs and resents everything most days of the weak, then pretends it’s boom times on the weekend.

Few people can afford to save, making all but the very wealthy completely reliant on the corporate teat for their daily survival as they become ever more dependent and ever less capable of contributing, as younger generations vie for the same jobs, winning them with the unbridled optimism which belongs only to the ignorant.
